Dr. Eric M. Schiffer
Dr. Schiffer graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic, St Louis, MO. in 1979. He received a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan in 1975. Dr. Schiffer has done extensive post graduate work in orthopedics through National College of Chiropractic, Lombard, IL. and the University of Michigan's Townsley Center on Disability Evaluation. Dr. Schiffer has done extensive studies in radiology, Applied Kinesiology, and the treatment of the disc.
Dr. Schiffer had been involved in athletics since his grade school days. Having been on Flint Southwestern's track team, tennis team and swim team. Dr. Schiffer tied and set held records at Flint Southwestern. In the '80's Dr. Schiffer became involved with weight lifting and treated many professional football players and the WBC Heavy Weight Boxing Champion of The World. Dr. Schiffer his years athletic experience he has treated many sports related injuries of the body's neuro-musclo-skeletal joints tbrough chiropractic.
Dr. Schiffer has been involved with classic cars and drag racing for many years. Having been the president of two local car clubs he has hosted classic car shows and drag races. He has assisted and been on several cable programs including BBC's Jeremy Clarkston's History of the American Auto Industry, A&E History Channel's "History of the Automobile, The Firebird", PBS's Great Cars, Speed Channels "The American Muscle Car" and "Hot Rod TV". Through all of this Dr. Schiffer has had the opportunity to discuss with automotive engineers and executives automotive safety that would help reduce injuries that he and other physicians have treated in their offices.
